My Internet Works Again

About a week ago my Comcast High Speed Internet starting having connectivity problems. I did not think it was a big deal at the time. Ever since I had ATTBI before Comcast I usually just reset my modem and the connection would start working again. However, this time after many, many times resetting the modem the connection still would not hold a connection for any acceptable amount of time.

Well I called Comcast and they missed their first promised service time. So I called again and finally today (about a full week after problems started and I reported it) Comcast came out. They tested all the lines and connections and just gave me a new modem. After a very slow setup program (now required because too many people were stealing HSI before, my internet was alive.

However, getting my home network up was another story. Comcast's new setup proceedure required some strnage settings so finally after about 20 minutes of fooling around with it I now have my full home network back up and running.
